How we started!
South THAILAND in the late summer 2005. A young open minded German lands in Koh Phangan, a small idyllic dream island in the south of Thailand. Having more than 7 years of international experience in multi site management, marketing, import/export & development in the fashion industry he chose to complete his MBA study online.
Bored, whilst attending his online studies he became enthusiastic about the comfort of the local Thai Island Fisherman's Pant's that he wore daily and unforgettable impressions of the Asian Sky Lanterns used in local celebrations. Becoming even more convinced of the comfort and well being feeling of the Thai Island Fisherman's Pant's and impressed by the fascinating beauty of the local Thai Fire Sky Lanterns, he focused on the need for such special and beautiful products in EUROPE.
Believing that these beautiful products would not only be successful in Europe but also enthusiastically embraced he decided to share and make them available world wide. Humble beginnings saw him purchasing small quantities from local crafts people and sending them in small parcels to European customers. From this he became more and more interested in supplying the growing demand for such beautiful rare products. He saw his first big hurdle as ensuring that previous shifting quality of Asian products be addressed. He first needed to satisfy himself that only the highest standards of products be made available to his customer base. Having successfully and passionately ensured the highest quality for his customers a new business was born.
The idea and passion for FEELGOOD-ALIVE & LIVINGIN was born.
As demand for Hot Air Sky Lanterns developed. The FEELGOOD-ALIVE team grew and worked hard on improving and making these products a leading force in Europe. Customers became excited and totally enchanted by the unforgettable memories created by our Khoom Fay Sky Lanterns at all types of celebrations. Orders from all parts of the globe followed and we now have a network of manufacturers, logistic companies and resellers worldwide.
Success demanded that the growing need be approached to make available to the world what had previously only been available to a small progressive market.
Early in spring of 2006 totally dedicated small & traditional villages were set up in South ASIA and started full scale production for European Quality and Standards to be met and supplied. Parallel to this we launched our own online & retail shop feelgood-alive.com and livingin.asia with a showroom & warehousing in South GERMANY and delivery service across Europe. FEELGOOD-ALIVE today proudly supplies satisfied retail and wholesale customers including many leading Marketing, Event and Wedding agencies with products of a quality unavailable previously. Decor and Gift shops are enjoying the partnership that seems a beneficial sustainable industry for all concerned.
